Hello all, I went and bought a netgear WG311 PCI 54g (Wg311GE) card the other day to put in my firewall. I intended to use this is as an access point for a WLAN. This card is listed in the support hardware section on the openbsd website under i386 but not amd64. Anyways, I grabbed the lates

Does anyone have any experience with these sun boxes eg (the 'X' series or aquarius are pretty new; X2100 X4100 X4200 v20z v40z I'd expect openbsd would work a charm but would like to know for sure before purchasing for a customer. Cheers.

ath device timeouts - 3.8 i386

I just installed an atheros 5212 mini-PCI a/b/g wireless card in my soekris 4801. Seems to be getting a lot of device timeouts, which, according to the manpage, "should not happen". I noticed also via top that the systems was 10% using interrupts and it dropped to 0% when I downed the interface.
