Hi all,
Upgraded from 5.2 to 5.3 i386, using my usual config I've had for a
number of years. Unfortunately I cannot ping6 a single thing, not even
localhost, and bgpd (patched with the March 15th patch) won't start via
rc.conf.local (all other daemons work). I've tried reinstalling the
kernel fr

How about specifying the model / specs needed for dev? I've got an old
Vaio SR31K available (has ACPI but some hw is not working, especially
PCMCIA) . Newer Vaio hardware uses a different sensor chip for hw stuff
so it wouldn't be that useful (I'm using a TX1-XP ).

Hi all,
I've been using RAIDFrame on OpenBSD since 3.1 and in 4 years I've
never seen any performance improvement in getting the system to work any
faster at rebuilding parity after a hard shutdown. I've tried RAID1,
RAID5, SCSI drives, IDE drives, processors from PentiumII 400s to

Yes, if OpenBSD supports EFI booting. Those new Intel Macs use the
Itanium (and future x86) method, not clunky old bios. But I've been

Hi,
I've got a Vaio VPC-X131KX, an 11" Atom based ultraportable. It comes
with the Intel GMA500 chipset, which includes this stuff:
00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corporation System Controller Hub (SCH
Poulsbo) (rev 06)
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation System Controller
