Areca 1210 disc failure reporting with an email?

Can someone suggest a strategy wherein I could get my Areca card to report a disc failure by email? My research hasn't taken me far but I'm guessing the answer is rather simple. MB

Dual core install problems with ichiic

dual core I tried to enable softraid and rebuilt the kernel. That yielded a kernel panic so I reverted to the old kernel. Would the gigabyte mobo possibly solve the ichiic problem as well as the kernel panic issues? Thanks, Marcus Booth
