Hi,
can relayd(8) be used as a plain HTTP proxy (no interception, no
filtering, SSL/TLS via the CONNECT method)?
If it can be used this way, can anyone please a share a config?
Hi Jonathan,
it took me some time to verify, so sorry for the long answer.
I updated my T60 to OpenBSD 6.2 and both the Touchpad as the Track
Pointer work fine without tricks of suspend/resume.

Without https, how can one verify that that is the correct address?
With HTTPS, can you be sure that the server isn't comprimised? With or
without HTTPS, it's always a good idea to check wether the address is
correct (a foundation has to be registered and at other places).

As far as I am concerned, HTTPS by itself doesn't do miracles. It
involved more tech. Unless you can hack the global web infra, it's only
possible to change this on a local network. Wouldn't there be more
interesting targets in such situations?
Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to downplay the l

Hi again,
I'm still trying to make it work for roadwarriors.
VPN server has IP address A.B.9.73/23. It is OpenBSD6.1.
I generated certs:
# hostname
serv73
# ikectl ca vpn create (CN = serv73)
# ikectl ca vpn install
# ikectl ca vpn certificate A.B.9.73 create
# ikectl ca vpn certificate A.B.9
Hello Jonathan Thornburg,
That is quite simple. The post will work.

I have a need to mount existing samba shares on a linux box,
on the openbsd 6.2 computer. There is no use for a samba server
on it, and I would prefer not to install one. What is the
appropriate/current samba client package and is there any
documentation on how to set it up?
TIA
Does any of my hardware work in -current?
Lots of stuff fails in 6.2 stable.
WiFi and touchpad being especially desired, of course!
If WiFi isn't a go, can anyone recommend a USB WiFi stick?
Thanks,

This works well:
urtwn0 at uhub2 port 1 configuration 1 interface 0 "Realtek 802.11n WLAN
Adapter" rev 2.00/2.00 addr 4
urtwn0: MAC/BB RTL8188CUS, RF 6052 1T1R, address 74:da:38:66:0f:3c
The one I have is made by Edimax and is roughly the size of a nickel.

Looks like sd(4) works.

The easiest way to check is to install the most recent sn

Way too low on caffeine I forgot - the dirt cheap USB wifi dongles you
get everywhere have tended to be something supported, urtwn mostly.
A not too ancient example looked like this in my OpenBSD
