when I the following commands in openbsd
date;sleep 1;date;uptime
I get the following output ads you can see there is a 20 second
delay instead of a 1 second delay

I have tried acpitimer0 but this does not seem to help with the
irratic sleep timer,
as you can see the delay in the sleep timer
seems to be progressive, as the uptime gets longer the
delay gets worse
