Not sure if my case is exactly related, but I experienced a similar issue with
some variation.
In my situation for OpenBSD current and previous releases, sometimes (!) the
whole system freezes, the screen turns black and GPU fan starts throttling
rhythmically up and down. Only hard reboot with p
I've had this problem for a while, over several releases.
Keyboard will freeze up (key presses do nothing). Mouse pointer
can be moved but clicks do nothing. Only solution was to reboot
using the power button, which does trigger a clean shutdown.
I've been chalking it up to some kind of hardware
