Many thanks. A variation of this solved the issue. For some
If the trackpad is handled by the ubcmtp(4) driver but isn't recognized
as clickpad, configure a bottom area (see wsmouse(4), wsconsctl(8), and
wsconsctl.conf(5)):
# wsconsctl mouse.tp.edges=0,5,10,5
This command defines a bottom area of 10% of the touchpad height.

Hi Jonathan,
Wanted to provide update: I was able to build a release image from source using
another amd64 VM and I incorporated your changes. The disk is now detected by
the installer using `sysctl hw.disknames`. `fdisk -g sd0` gave “error writing

Jonathan,
I appreciate the help. I’ll try building on a separate amd64 device and see if
I can get it to work. I’ll report back once I’ve had a chance to do some
testing.

Here is his dmesg for that MacBook.
This was on 4.7 and it only got much better by now.
He did run it on newer version as well, much better.

Hey Luis,
I just booted 4.8 up on my MBP ( first release of the unibody ). The

I installed a recent snapshot (i386) on the mac 5,5 and the nv driver

Then boot the OpenBSD disk, use fdisk during the insta
