Well, I don't know what terminal you are talking about, but generally
everything that aims to emulate a VT220 should have this mapping,
because the actual DEC VT2

I was able to make `dump` dump core when I pressed
control-4, I didn't test any other key combinations.
I was able to do this with 3.8-release and 4.0-current:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ dd if=/dev/zero of=/test bs=1m count=100

104857600 bytes transferred in 1
