The nfs server isn't running Linux, is it?
Try adding -o tcp as a mount option

Yeah i missed it,my bad.
To be fair,it is noted in the readme file, but nowhere in any tutorials
online.
Just a stupid mistake to miss i guess.

I hope these are not dumb questions.
Would sftp (secure ftp) be a better alternative than ftp? What was the
logic to remove that option on the network install versus http? is there
even a benefit for the mirrors to be on https (secure http) vs http and
would that allow for a verified download like
erested to see the
level of interest in a dedicated OpenBSD gathering in the bay area. I'd be
happy to organize and facilitate if needed/wanted.

Hi,
I want to order these two compact discs (see subject line) and have few
questions:
1. Is there tamperproof tape on the OpenBSD compact discs mailed from the
openbsd store?
2. Royal Mail takes how long to arrive to California? Is it being sent as a
letter?
Thank you.

Hi,
(A little off-topic)
I am due to give a little computer history talk at our local high school.
Can anyone remember how much AT&T, Berkeley, SystemV or any other UNIX flavour
cost in the 70's and 80's?
Thank You

Nope, just went there to download the pf-faq.pdf so that I could print it (on
company printers, with company paper off course :).
The weird thing though is that ftp to ftp.openbsd.org is not a problem.

My apologies then. It is just a screenshot of our IT guys classifying OpenBSD as
a Hacking website.

Hi guys,
Here is a screenshot of what the IT guys at my work thinks of OpenBSD. Before I
took this screenshot I could access www.openbsd.org for about an hour. After
that I started getting the message you see on the included pic.
Is this a bad case of paranoia? :-)

Your backupserver only needs to permit (non-root) scp/sftp from every client
machine.

The workaround I found is to delete the automatically added non-OpenBSD

After removing those the automatic offset calculation worked again.
