I've seen some benchmarks showing the Mtron mobi 3000 (the drive I
have) blasting 7000 seeks a second and going the full 100MB read, 80MB
write. This is not expected over pciide. I'm trying to hack ahci to
not panic on boot :).

I remember reading a while back about the licensing issues with apache
and all the talk of removing it. Just recently I started working with
lighttpd and find it rather nice. It's got a BSD style license,

I have been using the DISKLESS kernel image in 3.5 and 3.6 to boot my
thin stations, but there isn't a config file for that in the 3.7
release. Was this removed because of support reasons or is there

I've been playing around with authpf and got things working pretty well
with it. Now I've got a request to make things work even better and
that's where I got stuck. My setup is that I authenticate users on our
gateway before allowing an incoming Remote Desktop connection from

No, this is not a "why isn't my SATA RAID supported." I wanted to find
out some more information on this subject though. From what I
understand most of the SATA raid setups use a bios or software raid
configuration. Does this mean that the OS still has to pass native ATA
or SCSI
