swer to your question, perhaps tmux(1) might be
helpful here? You could have one tmux session window split into several
panes. Cycling through the panes is quite simple with PREFIX + o (the
default PREFIX being CTRL+b; in my case it's mapped to CTRL+o

Thank you for taking the time to respond!
So far, openrsysnc has indeed covered my requirements since they are
rather simple. But it's good to know that the common rsync package
exists in the ports, just in case.
Your observation on -W is quite interesting; I'm going to explore that
option further.

Thank you very much for your detailed response to my query! I did not
realise that we could use a local external tool with git-send-email. The
configuration with /usr/bin/s-nail looks
able to get git-send-email to work:
- p5-IO-Socket-SSL
- p5-MIME-tools
- p5-Authen-SASL
Should these packages not be part of the git package? Perhaps I'm wrong;
if so I would welcome being corrected.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

ync. Is this still the case? And if not, shouldn't the
openrsync(1) manpage examples invoke openrsync instead of rsync?
Thank you for your time and consideration.
