Hi,Philip
I install the OpenBSD 4.5 from official CD with the (I)nstall option,
I md5sum the " OpenBSD 4.5 offical ISO file", it is correct. ( I am not sure
whether it is broken when burning CD)
I try to re-install OpenBSD 4.5 and , run these command before the first
reboot:
#/mnt/usr/sbin/ch
Yes, actually I have read this "man biosboot", but the point is I don't know
how to resolve this issue :-(.

Hi, guys,
I installed the OpenBSD 4.5 some days ago, but boot failed after all
installation were completed. I flag the partition of OpenBSD bootable ,but
only get
"loading ...
ERR M"
error code,
I try to flag my Windows partition bootable and use ntldr to load
openbsd.pbr (dd if=/dev/rwd0a of=op
I don't have a floppy drive in laptop.
I just use command " fixmbr " in windows xp rescue console mode, then boot
from the OpenBSD 4.5 install CD, and run "fdisk -e /dev/rwd0c" in shell,
then "flag " the OpenBSD partition bootable. but boot failed, "ERR M"

Hi, Nick,
Thanks for you advices,
I clear Grub from my MBR, and flag the OpenBSD partition bootable , but I
also got a "ERR M" error code.
Yes, I read "man biosboot", but I don't know how to resolve it.
I try to reinstall OpenBSD 4.5 again , but it is the same error :(.

Hi, guys,
I just install the OpenBSD 4.5, but my grub configuration can't boot it.
Before that, I use OpenBSD 4.2, it is a new installation, not upgrade.
The OpenBSD slice is in (hd0,2),when I use the OpenBSD 4.2, I use
chainloader to boot it:
root (hd0,a)
makeactive
chainloader +1

Hi, guys,
I have a console line, which is serial console (RS232) on USB. It works well
with minicom in my ubuntu 8.04 when I connect it to my netscreen-5xt.
But, it can't work with my OpenBSD 4.2.
Due to my command line "usbdevs -dv" output, I configure it as these below
"Serial Device : /dev/us
It is a pity that my usb can't work also in 4.4 openbsd.
The system can't recognize my usb drive which works well in Windows or
Linux. When I plug in my USB drive into the usb port, there is not any out
put in my console. Before that, the OpenBSD 4.2 can mount this usb drive .
After check the dmes
Hi, Fred
I check my dmesg output, it include the "Realteck 8139", but have many "bad
interrupt line" in the log.
I attach the output of 4.4 and 4.2.
Pls have a look at it.

Hi, guys.
I download and burn the install4.4.iso recently. After I boot from this cd
and want to install system via internet, it can't find interface in my
laptop. In the step of "configure network", the boot system can't find any
interface.
My laptop is a HP old one with Celeron-M 1.5GHz and Intel
