I just purchased a nano-usb wifi dongle with the expectation that it would have a rtl8188cu chipset. In fact it has a MediaTek MT7601U and on perusing alot of purchase comments it seems that the MT7601U is supplanting the RealTek chipset. Ralink was fairly open and provided partial documentation
