I am not familiar with the workings of Majordomo, but since I saw
no follow-up (at least to the list), I'll try to help.
The Quick Start section mentions support for MH-style mail folders and

Title: Mhonarc & Majordomo Issue
I have messed up somewhere in my configuration and can't seem to get Mhonarc to work with Majordomo.
I receive the following error:

Hi. I'm new to the list and new to mhonarc.
I want to view the messages of my list in
web pages using mhonarc. The quick start

I couldn't find anything on the mhonarc web site and mailing list archive
about converting majordomo monthly archives with mhonarc. I presumer that
they have to be converted to mailbox format? I tryed processing them
straight and the monthly archive was added as one email.
Thanks,

IMO, using a special mail user account is the better approach.

Thanks Earl and Al. Since I'm not using Procmail, and have access to

An alternative is, if you are using procmail to dispose new mail to the
archive, use a formail filter to remove the pro forma text via the inverse
of what MajorDomo did to add it.
Yet another variant is to define two lists in MajorDomo, one for the record
and one for distribution. MHonArc gets

any easy way to make MHonArc exclude such a standard text when

Maybe it's time for someone (EWH?) to write/publish an O'Reilly butterfly book.
It sure seems like there are a lot of us around who use/abuse the MHonArc code.
