Hello list
Mesa 7.11-rc2 has been released. This is a release candidate for the
7.11 development release.
I've tried to compile this one
996aea3cca40bb34c0a9027411924879 MesaGLUT-7.11-rc2.tar.bz2
After unpacking
./configure --prefix=/opt/mesa PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/opt/mesa/lib/pkgconfig

I've tried it again with
export LC_ALL=C
export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/opt/mesa/lib/pkgconfig/
./configure \
--enable-galli

Compiling new kernel 2.6.38 now, as Debian/squeeze's 2.6.32 is too old
for libdrm-2.4.24 which is required by git Mesa...

Seems to be solved now. The distortions are gone.
