CFLAGS (and CXXFLAGS) may be overridden by the user when calling 'make'.
Therefore it is not advisable to set them explicitely in theconfigure
script.
We also fix the case where someone uses '--disable-debug'.

Currently we have 16 registered participants for XDC 2012 in Nuernberg
there only 11 weeks until the event, so if you have not done so already:

Now that we have everything in place we can finally make it official
and announce it:
XDC2012 will take place from September 19th to September 21th in Nuernberg,
Germany at the SUSE headquarter buidling.
Matthias Hopf, Luc Verhaegen and I will be orgainzing this event.
