Hi Debe, We are C/S and we use an ABS compiled report with a major sort
by ADM DATE and a minor sort by LOS IN HRS. Dates and hours print at
the left end of each line of patient data. Hope this helps, but please
call with any questions.
Thanks,

Hello All,
We are preparing to transition to LaserBand wristbands and related
products, and have been planning to print the wristbands,
wristband+label combination, and sheets of labels from the fold-out
trays of various models of HP Laser-Jet printers. We were recently
cautioned by the LaserBand
Hello all,
We have a form that needs to be fed into HP 4000 series printers upside
down, to prevent paper jams due to holes punched across the top of the
form. So we are looking for a way to have the Meditech NPR report (a
sheet of patient labels) print correspondingly upside down. Does anyon
Hi All,
We are about to go Live with LaserBand bar-coded wristbands and labels,
and we are working to clarify the best downtime procedures. We would
appreciate any suggestions and potential pitfalls from any hospitals

Thanks in advance!!

Hi Joyce, we just went Live with bar-coded wristbands, using a bar-code
for patient account number, which we will soon begin scanning with
Glucometer testing, our first scanning application. I'm also curious to
know what others are using.
Thanks,

Hi All,
I am attempting to add a customer-defined query to store an employee's
manager's name to our Customer-Defined Personnel screen. The new query
is a pointer to PP.PER, and initially appears to work correctly.
However, after saving data in this query for one employee, when I

Marc,
In C/S 5.5 we use "Display Patient Condition" (ADM.PAT.cond.inq). Patients who
opt out (RESTRICT DIRECTORY DISCLOSURE = PATIENT or BOTH) will not display with
this routine. Hope this helps, but please feel free to contact me with
questions.
Thanks,

Harry, we also use Cloverleaf, an older NT version, which is very
powerful, but has a steep learning curve. Newer versions are probably
more user-friendly. We may also consider Summit when it is time to
upgrade/replace Cloverleaf. Iatrics is another option for using a

Hello,
We are client server 5.5 and implementing bar-coded wristbands. Is
anyone printing thermal wristbands with barcodes to a Zebra or Datamax
printer directly from Meditech ADM using an NPR report, without any
specialty printer firmware? Meditech has posted a couple of NPR reports

Hi All,
We are in the process of implementing bar-coded wristbands for positive
patient identification. In conjunction with this, we are considering
the use of patient identification labels on various documents, to be
used in place of embossed card imprints. (This is an interim step until

Brandon, you can probably get most of what you need from ABS > Compiled
Reports > Patient Reports. You can select or sort by Patient Status,
and some of the standard reports show total charges, but in order to get
Reimbursement Amount, some preliminary coding would be required, i.e.

Sharon, depending on the fields you need on your report, you could try
reporting from ABS.PAT which only lists one record per account #. This
works for us (in C/S 5.5). Good Luck!
