Summit Healthcare has tools that are used for scripting. I
currently use their scripting toolkit to update dictionaries. My latest
project has been to update information in the pharmacy dictionary. The
scripting tool is very versatile, I use it for projects beyon

You may want to use a scripting language, such as VBScript to parse out
the information. You can read in the file line by line and parse each
line as you are reading it using string functions (left, right, mid).

We went through the Meditech suggestion. KB#'s 24675, 18890, 18336
explained this. We had to add the CDS to each pharmacy procedure charge

I think this topic is becoming more of a battle between IT and Clinical...
So, on that note IT people have to stay up all night to finish the project,
because they have a list that continues to grow and don't get additional
assistance, they work through lunch, because they don't want to
