We are using Laser Band but are having a few issues.

For those sites who are live with eMAR and BMV:
How are you handling PCA documentation? When you document a new PCA syringe,
what do you put in the dose field of the eMAR? Our syringes are 30mg/30ml,
but the dose may be 1mg q10 min, etc. When you are hanging a new syringe,

Our bags are clear with a white barcode. Try laying the bag over a white or
colored piece of paper. I found this.
Are you live with BMV? Or still in the implementation process.

Hi L'ers
I know there has been much discussion already about med rec, but I have a
few questions if you can take the time to respond.
What size hospital are you?
Who does Med Rec, pharmacy or nursing?

Question for BMV user r/t Co-sign function
Do you use a cosigner when given medications, ex insulin? If you do, how are
you using the co-signer. From what I can see with the MAR, the co signer is
used at administration, but our nurses prefer to have a
co signer when the med is actually drawn up i
Good Morning Everyone,
I have a question for those who have already gone live with BMV:
How did you notify your patients that the medication process was changed?
Did you just have the nurses explain when they administered a medication, or
did you also have a letter or pamphlet given to patients a

Hi,
For those of you who are live with BMV/EMAR 5.6 are you having an issue with

if you are, how are you handling this?

so far it appears to work ok in test.
It allows the meds to be entered onto the MAR in an unverified status, and
allows a SIG, so the next shift knows when the drug is due again.
Pharmacy will then verify when the re-open.
