We have 4 Other Vendor Charge interfaces with Meditech. Some vendors
send real-time HL7 transactions while other vendors send a flat file.
Either way the transactions process through our interface engine which

We use an OV Lab, and have the billing sent to an FTP file by the OV
software. The batches are

We used the Other Vendor Charge Interface at another hospital with a 3M
lab until going live with Meditech's Lab about three years ago. Lab
created a file nightly and an operator runs a routine in Bar Batch to
pull in the file. In our case the routine was scripted using

one from ESI. Both have worked without problem for years. Feel free to
