Hi John, thanks for the link. Sending the printer cmds works fine. he's able to set the lines/page and etc but what happens is after the labels have finished printing (ie after the NPR rpt finishes printing), Meditech sends a series of it's own printer commands which resets the lines/page and

[MEDITECH-L] problem using Z.dos.read when using Print On? Screen

hi all, this is an odd problem that has me stumped. Using Z.dos.read, it works only when I "download". When printing to Screen or View it doesn't read any data. Works great but only when I print to Download. Any ideas what might be going on? Thanks in advance! -- Randy
