Hi !
First of all, congratulations to MariaDB 10.2 GA.
mysqlclient (python binding : https://pypi.python.org/pypi/mysqlclient/1.3.10 )
cannot be built with MariaDB 10.2.6 like the following :
_mysql.c: In function '_mysql_ConnectionObject_ping':
_mysql.c:1911:41: error: 'MYSQL' has no member na

Thanks for summarising the topic into this issue. It is quite clear and
I could understand the background of t
ql/sql_select.cc), and it is
possible to modify mroonga to return an estimation of rows if MariaDB
has such an API.
So here are my questions :
* can MariaDB request an 'estimation of rows' to mroonga (or whatever
storage engine) ?
* can such information help to decide a better ex
ll pcre.h as well if MariaDB is
built with bundled pcre. What do you think ?

Yes I know. I set it globally only because it was the easiest way
without modifying the application at all...

db_locks_unsafe_for_binlog when I posted this question...
I'm trying using SERIALIZABLE isolation level and will check the
