In this case you will only need a data-file of size >4K.
Hope this helps.

Hi Sergei,
I had a similar idea yesterday. A statement like this will do the
trick:
((Item_field*)tempCond)->val_str(&tempCond->str_value);
OK, problem solved.
Thanks for your help.

the INSERT-statement (and double again as the current statement
creates a file of approx. 880 bytes in size only). You can also execute
the statement again and again as there are no constraints on the table.
hope that helps.

So the question is:
- the information is available but I used the wrong

OR
- is this a bug in the code?
What do you think?

I hope I did not introduce any errors.

Hi Sergei,
thanks for the tip. I've downloaded MariaDB 10.0.10 and this works now.

PS: well, there were some errors reported by cmake, like couldn't find
bfd.h, floatingpoint.h, ieeefp.h, ndir.h and so on (total: 39).
After restarting cmake I could do a make and ma
s, srv_buf_size);

By looking into the code of row0log.cc I found that FALLOC_FL_PUNCH_HOLE
seems to be defined now.
This is defined in /usr/include/linux/falloc.h.
So what happened here during the upgrade of Linux?

PS: by looking into Ubuntu 12.04 I found that this file al
urces. Everything worked here on my PC.
A tip: add an error to your sources so that the compiler will complain
about this, e.g. a syntax error. If this error-message appears you will
know that your source-code will be compiled.

At a first look the uintXkorr looks like a waste of time but the
modified versions do not have much effect on the whole process.

Hi Sergej,
thanks for your tip!
A first test shows that this work now.
I will do some more tests tomorrow. And in case of further problems I
will come back.
Thanks!!!

It compiles but I cannot load it.
What's the problem with st_mem_root?
Thanks

PS: as written before: both versions work with MySQL.

You will find my modifications in myisamdef.h, mi_dynrec.c and
mi_extra.c if you look for this identifier.
Please look at my approach. If you agree I will continue with this and
check all the cases which i didn't touch for now.

Hi Sergei,
as I've written when I started this thread: I'm struggling with Bazaar.
And I did not have the intention to publish any code directly to the
main tree.
I'll give it another try.

I've not implemented all the possible cases. I wanted to know if a full

in MariaDB this is: -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Debug
is this correct?
