I can see that you've now had a reply but looking more closely it seems
like you've sent a "you can't message this list" type of email that has
gone to a spam trap, which is unfortunate. Some other metrics drove the
reputation of the IP down too, so it was listed.
I've reset it all for you now so
Hiya,
Might be more prudent to setup some rDNS on the IPs first, then post to
mailop about them...

Hi Sebastian,
It doesn't look like we got your actual remediation requests (am guessing
you never got a confirmation email) but I was able to identify your IP
based on your email address and have remediated it for you now.IP has been
listed in CSI since the end of June when we saw a snowshoe attac
Sure, I think I know the IP you're referring to based on your From domain
here but please confirm it to me all the same. I can send you more details
directly then.

Your main issue is that Transip sure do like to let spammers make use of
many IPs within the /24 that you're in, we'll just need to flag yours as
separate to prevent this from reoccurring.

If you want to provide sending IPs (on or offlist), we can investigate a
little more for you.

Let me know which IP(s) and I can have someone to look into this tomorrow.

We'd need to know the IP(s) you requested remediation on to know if we
attempted to send anything.

Am guessing this resolved itself for you since I can see that over the past
24 hours over 97% of your traffic was happily accepted. I do see a not
insignificant amount of mail to invalid recipients so you might want to
check that you're understanding/processing bounces/deferrals properly.

If you haven't already done so, postmas...@proofpoint.com is your best

Not sure if I'm the "regular contact" here or not but I've been away for 2
weeks in any case. What's the issue?

Under the category of "better than nothing", one of the data points we
track for mail traffic from AmazonSES is the Feedback-ID header; indeed, in
previous discussions with AmazonSES peeps, they have been super keen to get
that data for any bad actors using their platform.

If you can provide me details of the sending IP(s) I can take a look at
what might be causing some of the issues for some of the networks
(Spectrum) you're trying to reach.

Is this for an IP ending in .179? If so, that was resolved last week when
one of your colleagues got in touch with me. If it's a different issue, let
me know the IP in question.

Hey Mark,
Let me know the IP(s) you're sending from and I can take a look at the data
to see what's happening.

If you want to share the IP(s) you're sending from I might be able to
provide more specifics for you but it's all about backing off, reducing the
volume of data you're trying to send and the amount of recipient network
resources you're trying to use up.

Checking the details (I know one of my team has already reset the IP for
you), it looks like it got caught up in a bad neighbourhood that started
spamming one of our customers, and some slightly over-zealous volumetric
rules kicked in to expand the range of IPs that got added to CSI, which we

If you specifically know that your issue relates to a CSI listing (for IPs)
or a content issue (i.e. you have a sample analysis string ) then you're
welcome to contact us about the matter but otherwise there is little we can
do for you, especially if it is the ISP making some policy decision.

What's the IP range? Which form are you filling out? What errors, if any,
are you seeing? What networks are you trying to reach? I can't guarantee to
make it any quicker or easier though.

What IP(s) are you sending from? Not promising anything but I might be able
to dig in to the data and see if anything useful can be found related to
your sends.
