Does anyone else use/set the hidden pref for “MmMessagesOutlineMoveStrategy”,
and if so, is your 597x version still behaving properly? To me, it appears that
this selection order is broken in the 597x test builds. The last I remember it
working properly was a 596x build.

I replicated what you did in my Experimental Build r5975 installation
with two unread messages (one was yours) showing in my Inbox. Works fine
to advance to the next subsequent message. Reads fine after changes, as
it was set. Seems like any group selection works in a similar fashion
