Hi all,
I have a strange behaviour of mailmate (r5552). At some point today the
inbox start showing 0 messages, and believe me, it is not due my
zero-inbox skills. If I login to gmail or another accounts via web, I
see inbox messages there. Extremely confusing.. Mailbox restart
doesn’t help.
an update - all the mail is there, but indeed it is just
‘archived’… so two questions:
- is there any way to pull it back to inbox systematically?
- is it possible to understand the reason for such a glitch and avoid it
in the future?

Yes, I see this too on my work mail which uses Outlook/Office365. Been
meaning to mention it.

I use right hand for the mouse, and I am a mousy person, so the return
key is not practical for me.
If you use custom key bindings in MailMate then I believe you c

Actually, MailMate automatically adds anchoring to the address pattern

I guess I’ve figured out the problem, it actually repeated:
I have the following key binding:
"y" = ( "selectWithFilter:", "#thread-id = ${#thread-id} and
#source.path = 'INBOX'", "archive:");
and during a day I’ve seen this a few times - when I want to archive a
thread, and press ‘y’ it arc
I am having problems that look like I need to simply have MailMate
download all my message from scratch. Rebuilding didn't help. How do I do
this?

That would work. You could also select the top-level node for the
account in the Sources list, select all of the messages, and use
Message->Reset to make MM forget them all and re-fetch t
Can't do that. MM never stops refreshing the message list. Looks like I
have to delete and recreate the account.

To delete my mail account in MM, do I do Remove Source on the highest node
in the Sources List?

MM was never able to get all my messages. Kept getting stuck on certain
folders. I have, for now, switched to Apple Mail, until I can figure out what
to do to get MM running okay again.
This all happened after Tuffmail.com upgraded my IMAP server. Here's what the
