Hi Guys,
Just a quick question. Is there any way of using html signatures. My
company dictates we use a very specific signature with images and
formatting (dumb, I know... bosses orders) :(
Is there any way of achieving this? Simple markdown isn't enough in this
case due to colours and align
Thanks, TJ and Kee. I had a sneaking suspicion this would be because of
Google's Gimap being not-standard IMAP.
Unfortunately, despite having a look through the preferences, and
through the help, I can't seem to find the way to unsubscribe from

Good morning,
I fear this is a really stupid question. I think when I first
downloaded MM two days ago it was possible to double click on an email
and have it open in it's dialogue box (if this is the way to describe
it), rather than in the preview pane. now when I double click it treats

Hi Annamarie
In Settings > Viewer, choose Double Click "Opens Message in a new

Alternatively you can hold down ⇧ while double clicking. [Quick

Hello.
Under the Menu path:
File->Edit IMAP Account->AcctName
a window will open. Select 'Edit Subscriptions' from that window.
OR
Control-click on the account's name in the Sources listing and access
that same window.

⌘+o does the same too, though nothing is easier than simply hitting

Thanks, Ed. I'd completely failed to see that button.

Markdown can have html in it. I assume this is true of mailmate's processor. So
while it won't be pretty, if you put the raw HTML there, it should work.

Hi kee,
Yeah, that was my first thought and therefore tried it. Either I did
something wrong or MM doesn't support it. It simply renders html as
plain text, i.e. I had html code all over my signature. If it's not
possible I'll find some way around or a compromise, but thought I'd ask

Ben,
MailMate stores its messages under ~/Library/Application

I've never done an import from a previous mail configuration so I
can't comment on the import. I would make an assumption that it would
be pulling over the mail server / account configuration.

Hi,
I came across MailMate through the crowd-funding exercise, it looks
interesting, I'd like to try it out. But before I dip my toe into the water,
I want to check that it won't get bitten!
Specifically:
- where does MailMate store messages and its index files?

Hi Ben,
Steve has already covered where messages are stored, I'd just add that each
message is an individual eml file, not a mbox archive.
As for import, I went that route. MailMate simply imported the account
settings, asking later that I insert password since it couldn't pull that
