Today I noticed that turning on “DO NOT DISTURB” of my mac does not

I have a question regarding MailMate signature behavior. My signature
setting is as follows,
Default signature placement: Top
Caret placement: Above Signature
Everything works as expected as long as the signature has been inserted
before writing anything into the new email window.
