I understand there's the stylesheet.css file that allows some CSS tweaking for
rendering plain text messages.

one if that one is for reasons unknown not working for you.

Hey Bill, thank you for all your help. It just wasn't doing what it was
supposed to. I spent a half hour on the phone screensharing with Apple and we
got it to work by having me type in my apple ID and password instead of relying
on touch ID. Voila! She didn't know why it made the difference but

What I can’t tell in iCloud (without doing what you did -
removing/replacing the original password) is when you did that did the
old app-specific password(s) disappear. I suspect they did, but don’t
