stuff, and wait for the bugs to be worked out. Do you know if I buy it
in say, a month, do they fix the bugs on the new install disks?

Hi folks,
I upgraded to Snow Leopard Friday from Leopard, on my two year old
Macbook.
I did not do a clean install. I installed over Leopard after doing a
backup with Time Machine.
Everything seemed ok except I kept getting "stuck" in the dock, but

Yes, some updates were run right after the installation was complete,
but then the Macbook freaked out so I don't know for sure if they
took. I don't believe there was a Safari update, but I'll go check for
updates now.
I remember one thing; it said it would start setup assistent right
Ok went and downloaded the latest Safari update, restarted, opened
Safari and still could not type on Facebook mobile. That's one of the
sites I have issues on. Restarted VO and could type.

Repaired permissions? No, this has not been suggested but I don't know
what it is. Can you explain?

The upgrade to Snow included the permissions repair. It also states
that repairing permissions now will only repair Snow, so to go back
and repair Leopard, you need the disk. But, since the upgrade repaired
