Hi.
I have been able to successfully pair my iPhone 4S and my Mac Book, but thus
far, I have been unable to pair my 4S with my BrailleNote Apex. My Apex is
currently running Keynote version 9.10, build 1031. If all goes according to
plan, I will be upgrading the Apex to something more recent
as will the 4S, though 9.2 does make it possible to enter

Hello.
I read a lot of material using the Read2Go App from Bookshare on my iPhone 4S.
Although I like the app a lot, I find myself annoyed by something that may be a
bug, or just a problem with my technique.
I prefer listening to Bookshare content using the VoiceOver voice, not the TTS
that c
ictation software. Please excuse spelling errors.

Hello Anne,
Though this may not be the best solution, couldn't you just hit the mute switch
on your iPhone to get rid of the page-turning sound? I do this with Blio and
iBooks, and it works quite well.
Best,

Hi.
I know that there is a free Kindle book available that describes how to use the
Kindle app on the iPhone for reading books.
Unfortunately, the book is not available in the Austrian store. While I was
able to locate it in the American store, I was unable to purchase it from
there. Does an
Hello everyone,
For many years, I have enjoyed listening to Audible content on my Victor reader

don't anticipate that it ever will be.
An area where I am having problems, however, is that of downloading the

Hi,
I have encountered an app that, I believe, would be very useful to blind iPhone
and iPad users who work in multilingual environments. When I notified the app
developer that the buttons in his app weren't accessibly labelled, he said:

I'm very sorry to hear that the buttons are not labele
Hello everyone,
Like many people on this list, I have truly enjoyed increasing accessibility to
books through places like Bookshare, Nook, Amazon/Kindle, Blio and iBooks from

I am wondering if there is a way, in any of the aforementioned platforms to
gain accurate information about prin

This is sort of embarrassing, especially since I have been an iPhone user for
over a year. I wanted to look something up in the VoiceOVER manual, but when I
launched Safari and tried to find the link, it was no longer there. I have no
conscious recollection of erasing the manual or, should I s

Hi.
I recently downloaded Twitterrific but have yet to create a Twitter account.
While I have read some articles on Twitter etiquette, I have yet to come across
a step-by-step guide for basically hitting the ground running. Is there such a
guide? If there is, could someone point me to it?

Hi, all,
I was just asked if I would explain to a person in the process of losing his
vision how he might be able to use the iPhone. Since I am totally blind, I
can't really judge how well the iPhone works for low-vision users. I know that
there is a Zoom function and that the font size can b
Hello everyone,
Donna sort of brings up a point that would interest me. How do you actually
enter a word within Fleksy that isn't in its dictionary? Is there a way to
force the App to let you enter a word in the "usual way?" Although I write
lots of stuff on my iPhone in English, I sometimes

I have a lot of files in my Dropbox account which I regularly read an edit on

Greetings,
On occasion, I use BlindSquare and really like it. However, I am thinking that
I could get more use from the app if I dug more thoroughly into understanding
all of its features. I have two questions that may have been answered in the
manual, though I don’t remember seeing them addr
