Hello Folks,
I am hoping someone can assist me in using iTex Express in switching between 2
or more files that are opened on my Air. I am using ML. I am viewing one
document and need to make notes for training purposes. This feature I am
well-acquainted with on the PC side and I was wondering i
HELLO All,
I thought this was an interesting post from Duxbury. ATIA is next week and in
their post they were plugging to preview DBT 11.2 and possibly DBT Mac. That's
right!!! I just said the magic words: DBT Mac. I hope they can pull it off and
have DBT mac ready for distribution. This would

HI All,
I hope others will help me out if my memory is not perfect. When all of the Mac
Gourmet apps were on sale, there was a discussion that a newer version was
about to be release for the phone and Mac. I believe in older versions of Mac
Gourmet there was a problem in syncing between the pho
Hi Alex,
This may be another one you may not want to invest the time, but here goes.
Ifyour Mac was running well using Mountain Lion, is it worth it to roll back to
that OS? I have had 2 tech people at my local Apple store stating that they
haven't yet upgraded their Macs at home and are still
Hi Jim,
I have read your post a few times while working with a TXT file and Mac Gourmet
Deluxe. Maybe the light bulb hasn't gone off, but the only place I find
"services" is under the "Mac Gourmet" menu. After I click on it, I do not
locate the "clip recipe." I am getting better at the Mac OS,
Hello All,
I wasn't going to add to this thread, but I havenoticed on my Mac Air running
ML that at times I need to hit the Control key a few times to get VO to stop.
So, I'm wondering if it's really an OS or voiceover bug or the idea of a
buffering problem just mentioned.

HI Jessica,
I just opened TextEdit. I am going to go through the steps and write this post
as I am doing it. This is for you to follow the steps and you will be able to
enable the necessary keyboard shortcuts.

Hello Folks,
I have been trying out the dictation the dictation feature on my Mac Air. I
have the FN key set to activate it and pause dictation. My question is: Is
there a list of commands that I can use for dictation? I do have Dragon
installed on my PC, so I have a knowledge base of commands.
Hello All,
I want confirm that I have this issue also in different apps using ML. So, if
we are all having a similar problem across OS platforms, is it worth for all of
us to write accessibility separately? Just a thought.

Hey there,
Thanks for piping in. You answered a question I had about when I insert the Win
CD and Win 8 disk. Still out and about, so I might not be able to catch you on
Zello until tomorrow. Thanks again. Oh yeah, I know I will need to give up a
little bit of my precious disk space, but I thin
Hello All,
I was under the impression that if I toggled the option in the iCloud settings
on my iPhone for Safari that my bookmarks would show up on my Mac Air and vise
versa. However, this is not happening. Are there particular settings in either
the Mac Air or the iPhone that need to be looke
Hello,
Here is a solution for the iPhone. The 2 OCR apps that work well and are
accessible are Prizmo and Text Grabber. For best results, these OCR apps
accuracy is at its best when used in conjunction with the StandScan Pro. You
can find the StandScan Pro at www.standscan.com. The price is 29.
Hi Chris,

That's what I thought. Do you have any idea if this feature will be added in a
future version? It would be nice to have it all on the Mac side. I'm starting
to get tire of using both operating systems. I was trying to keep the operating
systems separate and not use a virtual environment. Oh well
Hello Paprika Folks,
I need some expert assistance. I copied my recipes that I have collected over
the years from my Win 7 PC machine onto a USB thumb drive. I placed the thumb
drive into an USB port on my Air, opened Paprika and attemted to import the
first recipe file from the drive. I receiv

by using Dragon or a combination of Dragon and JAWS.

Hi All,
I just want to point out that I have had a paid copy of Window-Eyes for a few
years. Last year though, if I wanted the Vocalizer voices I needed to pay for
them. Also, I listened to a recent podcast from GW micro on how to get started
with the WE version for Office and it was mentioned
Hello List,
I have a Genius Bar appointment this morning and in the instructions it is
asking to turn off "Find My Mac." Where do I go on the Mac Air to do this?
Thanks in advance.
