I can’t find dropbox in Status menus on my Mac in ventura. I thought I had
connected it on the dropbox site but apparently I haven’t. what do I do?

No, don't do that.If you don't have the client installed, then install it and it should use the folder that's already been created.However, before you do anything, look in your applications folder and see if you already have the Dropbox app installed. If you do, then do CMD + down arrow to start it
