Has anyone else noticed that since updating to Mac OS Sonoma , that Voiceover
seems to read nothing in regard to the App Store anymore? Also, no amount of

The search field is immediately before the side bar.
You should be using VoiceOver navigation commands to read, not tabbing.

I’ve done both, and that’s gotten me next to nowhere. Interacting with the
first section starts displaying something about “stay up to date with
notifications, get notified about billing and product updates, etc.
Then there’s one before that with an unlabeled image, and nothing more that I

Perhaps it’s one of those introductory dialogues describing new features of the
app that you need to acknowledge before continuing.

Do you have caps lock configured as a VoiceOver modifier? Mine is, and I can’t
reproduce your issue (MacOS Sonoma).
I suppose you could try a double press of caps lock to turn it off, if it is on.
