Hi,
I've read I can switch on the sound over the starting up on iPhone14 Pro in
accessibility settings.
Is it true?
Thank you.
Tibor.

I just upgraded to iOS 16 and it seems to have changed the sound for Siri when
you press the side button to get her attention. I really don’t like this sound,
in fact, when I’m out and about I can’t really hear it because of ambient
noise. The same goes for the sound when double tapping for dic
Hi Phil,
My understanding is that they changed the Siri sound to make it more
identifiable to people with hearing loss. However, I agree with you. I think
it’s much harder to hear, especially in noisy environments. It’s one thing to
make it lower, but it also seems much quieter. I wish they
Bill, that is correct. It is a new sound. A lot of discussion on this list
about it when it first came out. Most of us do not like it. Report your concern
to Apple directly, not just to Apple Accessibility.
One note, you will need to learn to pause after the tone before talking to

Hi all:
I use Directv Stream with my Apple TV. Love the service.. hate the price
tag. Price keeps going up constantly. I have the cheapest package and its
now $70. Ridiculous.
So, Does anyone have another streaming service they like that is cheaper
than $70 and works on Apple tv pretty easily?

Youtubetv is a little cheaper at $64.99 .. and if you have TMobile, you can get
it for $10/month off for at least the first year .. In my opinion it works
better on the ATV than Direct TV. Also depending on your area, Spectrum has
sever streaming packages that can end up around $50/month for
brad,

I have an associate here in Toronto working with the centre for social
innovation.
They currently run an entire commerce company with a 2011 mac
machine..and they are not using voiceover.
If indeed a door to a new machine opens up, that will be marvelous.
However,
The 2014 Mac mini has RAM and SSD that is soldered to the motherboard.
This model is not upgradable.
Feel free to look it up for yourself.

A 2011 Mac would be upgradable, but later models around the 2014 forward were
