I’m actually finding Apple Music a lot easier to navigate with Ventura than I

it’s just me however, or if this is in fact the case, butt I’m finding the

Lol. Never tried the Zoe voice, but I agree with you about Eloquence. That’s
the last thing I would want on my Mac! I never understood why it was even
asked for.

Try pressing the capslock key twice in quick succession.

I know sending a “Thank You” message to the list is frowned upon, but I’m
taking the chance because the solution feels a bit “peculiar.” Herby is right,
quickly pressing the key twice quickly cured my dilemma and I felt
this may be useful to others on the list should the matter rear that quite
You are most welcome!

Personally, I don’t either, considering the fact that today’s voices are of a
Lott better quality, and most of them don’t cost an arm and a leg, as opposed
to back in the day where you either had Eloquence,/Phonex, or nothing, unless
you wanted to pay top dollar for higher quality voices, if tha

sorry, but I have three versions of some, enhanced premium etc, and I do not
want them all, but where you used to just uncheck them and remove I don’t see

As with iOS16, looks like many of the voices are now built int the system The
ones you can delete have a trash icon by them.

Okay, with alex I guess I’m used to the weird pitch change, when announcing
different controls but is there a way to stop this annoying change when
announcing different controls etc. I’d like to change to a different voice, but
this annoying practice is keeping me with alex, thanks.

I know. I guess I just got used to alex doing it. it seems subtler than when
Moira does it. I love this voice, but I can’t abide by it doing that. I want my
voices the same through the whole computer experience.

This is what I was posting about yesterday in another thread. The
solution is in Accessibility, Speech, where you set the system voice.
I played with this for some time and still, even with Samantha

I’ll try that. I didn’t think of that, was just going into the voiceover
utility.

Something else I forgot to mention. Even with the one voice,
Samantha being the default voice, I hear Alex speaking some elements.
Its very subtle and it could be my hearing. Setting up system voice was
much more reliable pre Ventura.

Downloads was the 10th of 12 items in the first table for me.

Some time ago, a method to do this was mentioned. I can't recall how
it is done so hopefully someone here knows how to accomplish this. Thanks.

In this case, its the speaking rate in Accessibility, Spoken
Content. The VO up and down works but the change does not stick.

After interacting, you can also use left or right arrow keys. Does the same
thing as up or down.

I can move it either with arrow keys or the fast/slow buttons but
the value always reverts back to 50.
