Can you do it using the old style drag and drop? You need to turn off cursor

Dear All:
The following announcement will likely be of interest to people
interested in creating and/or editing musical scores.
I'm quoting an announcement from Sarah Morley of the DAISY Braille Music
Project below.
MuseScore has published a tutorial video titled Screen Reader Accessibility=
Karen:
I don't think you'd be doing either Finale or Sibelius on a Mac, with or
without accessibility requirements. Are those applications even
available for Macintosh?
Suggest you look at the announcement from the DAISY Braille Music
Project I just excerpted to this list re Musescore.

Good Morning,
My system shows the KB shortcut for this as option-command-F5, but this seems
to do nothing.

Unfortunately, I seem to have forgotten how to do it. I did turn cursor
tracking off, but, nothing I tried there after worked.
I may have to re-create the account again anyway. The need for a password to
login to the SMTP side keeps turning off. And so Comcast keeps rejecting my

Hi,
You’ll need to use the old fashioned drag & drop method. That is,
• select the All Signatures from the Signatures table.
• stop interacting with the All Signatures table, then navigate to the Names
table and interact with it.
• navigate to the signature you wish to use.
• press VO-cmd-f5 to
Hi there,
yes, finale and the other program you referenced are available for the
mac, with its company makemusic deeply
interested in improving its accessibility.
They could speak reasonably to what works well in fact, quite a positive
experience.

Hi Janina. Thanks for your email you forwarded about MuseScore. I am currently
using this on a Windows PC with NVDA and it’s a great program! That’s very
cool the next version will have support for VoiceOver on the Mac. I tried to
watch the video on YouTube, but I got a message saying this
Hi,
This changed about a year ago or so. Something to do with making sure that the
accessibility team is dealing with accessibility issues instead of regular OS
features. Definitely not well thought out as the people who aren’t a part of
the Accessibility team often don’t know how to assist i

Hi,
I know this has been a topic for a while: I use Safari on a Mac from 2014.
Everythings still fine except for Safari which is constantly busy. It takes
Safari ages to calm down and to let me browse the web. A lot of you might share
this experience.

I have the same issue with my 2014 Mac. I've even considered going back to an
earlier osx. mine doesn't say: "busy." it says: "Safari not responding." mail
is behaving the same way.

I just tried again in a couple browsers. I'm able to get there with this

There's a Musescore Developer YouTube Channel as well here:

I’d consider a new Mac. I have an Intel from 2019 and while I do get Busy or
not responding some times, it’s not as bad like on older Macs. In the mean
time, try Chrome.

Hi. I just tried rebuilding the mailbox on my Mac and still have the same
amount of messages in my inbox like I did earlier. How long is this process
supposed to take? I thought it was going to download more messages from the
server and take a longer amount of time.
Thanks.

That’s because I’m using Mac OS Catalina. The behavior is the same but a
different message.
That’s really a pitty. The iMac works really well except for Safari.

Hello,
Rebuilding will only make the version on your computer look like the version on
the web assuming a IMAP mailbox is being used. It should make sure that the
indexes that are used for the summaries are also matched correctly to the
actual files that get created for each message.

That’s odd, I’m running Catalina on a 2013 MacBook Air and I have absolutely no
problems with Safari. I wonder if clearing out your caches might help? I know
I’ve done it a few times.

I must say, this certainly is a serious problem. I haven’t called in for about
18 months so wasn’t aware of this poorly thought out policy.
