I have experience situations when using my lightning connected headphones that voiceover can get very very slow. Usually rebooting then plugging in the headphones and unplugging headphones will reset this. Hopefully this is your issue and you’ll find a quick resolution. Sent from my iPhone > O

No, absolutely no Siri to speak of. It’s a brick. Now when I plug it into my mac there is no response whatsoever. I am thinking about just leaving it for a time, letting it drain the battery and replug it in tomorrow morning and see what happens. If it’s still like this I am going to try and

Occurs to me that you may have either damaged the lightning port, or there is debris in the port that is fooling your iPhone into thinking there is still a headphone connected. Have you been able to clean the port, or made sure that nothing has broken off inside the port? Dave Carlson Oregoni
