I had a swollen battery on my late 2013 vintage Macbook Air (11-inch) a
couple years ago. The battery had swollen so much the lid wouldn't
close.
The Apple store replaced the old battery and I've not had an issue
since. My total cost was just over $200 as I recall.

In my case, the old iPhone SE screen was uneven to the point where I thought it
would come loose and fall off.
