Is there anyway to silence or lower the sound of the chimes you hear when
pressing the side button for Siri or when using hey Siri? I have the phone
plugged into my amp and if I use Siri the chimes and the volume of Siri nearly
take my head off.

Well, I just did that. I flipped the mute switch and used hey Siri. The chime
sounded the only thing that was silenced was Siri‘s spoken response. Again that
does not mute the chiming sound at both the beginning and the end of series

Also, Utorrent is another good one. I have used that one for retrieving Linux
images before. It’s got a simple to use interface and it’s preferences dialogue
is easy to work with, even with a screen reader.
Also, you might have to install Xcode tools as well as macports and then
install RTorren
I don’t use “Hey Siri”. I hold down the side button to invoke Siri. When I
have the Mute switch turned on, I do not here the “chime” indicating it is time
to speak to Siri, or when finished speaking to Siri.

whether or not I have the mute switch on or off I get the Siri chime. How
