Have you tried using the FN key with keys on the numbers row as function keys? Also, I’ve read and heard very positive comments about the performance of the new M1-based Mac hardware, including VoiceOver performance. That’s why I’m contemplating making the upgrade, possibly next year. On 12/18/20,

I’m learning French, and I’d love a way to quickly switch to the French voice.
I’ve used VO-CMD-Shift-arrows to select voices but there are too many and so it
takes time to select the French one. Is there some faster way to select a
specific voice, maybe through activities or something like that
Thank you very much. I did sort things out as I had too many passwords saved
for the website so I removed them all and started again and now it’s working.
I have an Mac mid 2020 so no Touch ID, just a British Apple keyboard with

The only problem is that Safari always wants to load. I have edge on my IOS
but safari will load if you press a web link. So how can you get a browser to
load and you don’t want to use safari?

settings.

I agree, and I'm glad Mozilla developers are working on it. Firefox is very
accessible under Linux and Windows - I've used both. I haven't downloaded the
Mac OS version yet.

I doubt there is any way for a browser to address Captcha, what they have been
working on is making Firefox respond to VoiceOver commands much like it does
for Safari. The way Firefox could be better than Safari is the places where
Apple has decided not to follow standards. If you review the MDN
Actually, CAPTCHA has become much more sophisticated than just solving
puzzles, and there are both good things for a11y in the pipeline along

I co-wrote and edited a recent W3C Note publication on CAPTCHA

I decided to give Big Sur a try on one of my macs, and honestly, I'm thinking
about going back to Catalina. Since I became a Mac user back in 2008, I think
this is the first time that I've considered going back to a previous version of
Mac OS, but for me at least, there are some major issues.

No, the response you provided is just fine.

Speaking personally, I encourage folks to read Janina's fine work on this

but the more you know the more you can contribute to possible solutions
