looking to replace video downloader

Hi, It appears I can’t download youtube videos anymore via Downie because they made changes and I can’t use the latest version of Downie because this old mid 2009 Mac book pro will only go up to El Capitan. So, What is the most accessible alternative video downloader out there Thanks. --
