Hi all,
I would love to hear from any of you who are running the Beta of the new MacOS,
without violating disclosure, of course.
I’m still running High Sierra, in part out of laziness, and in part because
work is crazy busy. It’s occured to me that if I want to upgrade to Catalina,
I’d better
Hi.
I opened my Apple Watch 6 after it had been sitting in my cupboard for over a
three or two week period as I waited to get my I phone 12 Pro.
So when I started it, it was speaking a foreign language and voice over didn’t
give the English option. So I waited for my cleaner to come and pair
Hi Kawal,
Pairing the watch manually isn’t that hard. I’ve always set up my watches that
way. A code is sent to your watch, and you just enter it on the phone.
Re your other question, Blood oxygen is an app. So, press the Digital Crown to
go into your apps, and then scroll down to Blood Oxygen
Hi Donna.
I know pairing the watch manually isn’t hard. But I can’t remember the numbers
that is why it can take me half a day if I were to do it. I can’t remember
numbers due to too much oxygen and I think it affected that part of my brain.
I am good at English music and other things but m
Catalina is extremely stable.
I would recommend that you upgrade to Catalina, and wait a while on Big Sur.
Give it some time and see how it works out. Then maybe upgrade to it.

Thanks, Brad. That's my leaning, but I thought that before I did, I'd see what
others think.

Donna,
I will be very interested in your findings as well if/when you do in fact make
the move. I’m running Mojave, and haven’t upgraded mostly because I was
concerned about the fact that anything higher doesn’t support 32-bit apps, and
I didn’t want to bother figuring out exactly what, if anyt
Hi Pete,
Given the Apple event today, I'm probably going to download Catalina this
morning, since it seems likely that it will be disappearing immanently. I'll
keep you posted.

Donna

Hi Donna!
I think you should upgrade to Big Sur if you can.
The operating system is pretty stable and there are some braille issues in
safari with Catalina.
But that depends on how much you need your Mac for work.
But it should work right out of the box when its released.

Hi!
I normally first tries to pair it by holding the watch above the camera.
If that fails I pair it manually.

Thanks. I do use my Mac for work, but often without braille.

Hi Donna,
Granted I am not personally facing the issue, but my general advice is to
consider what you cannot do now that you desire doing. or what might be
done with greater ease?
If upgrading will do things better, without breaking things that work,
then moving to something equally stable ma
Hi all, I’m stumbling my way through navigating the application news. Does
anyone more familiar with it have tips? It looks like headings are a key
navigation. Also using VO-j to jump into the main feed.
Any tips are appreciated.
I’ll tack on another question. Do you all use a RSS app as well?
I would say the question was how old is the hardware? If you're hardware it's
older than five years don't upgrade. If it is new say 2018 to present, send
certainly upgrade upgrade in the operating system it's a good idea at all times
unless there's some extreme reason why you should not remember
Thanks, Maurice.

If you have any questions or concerns
Zoom is a great option for that. It’s vary easy to set up and you don’t have to
do any customizing. You simply need the free account set up meting ID, Make
sure your recording settings are good, and your VO is set to system default.
There are of course other options I think Quicktime can do some
what would you reommend for a Mac mini that I got at the very end of 2014? I'm
currently running Mojave and am comfortable with it but I don't want to lag too
far behind unless my hardware has trouble going there.

Lorie, you and I are in the exact same position, so I’ll be interested in what
others say as well because I, too, am comfortable with I have now. I so far can
do everything I want to, and since I’m retired I’m not in a work situation
where I would depend on it more than I am now.

I'm still on Mojave because of the Overdrive app. I probably should upgrade,
but I keep holding back because I'll have to learn windows if I want to use the
Overdrive app.

Hi all:
I’ve been noticing a strange behaviour today. My Mac is no longer identifying
persons with their assigned name in my contact list. Eg. The phone number

will say “Joh brown” is calling or if it’s someone who h
Hi Phil,
To the best of my knowledge you will need the Dot. You will use the Alexa app
to pair the microwave with the dot.
Best,
