Pete, Same here - Only choice is immediately. iPhone 8 with iOS 14.0.1. I suspect this limited choice is driven by some other setting, such as being available on the lock screen, or other. It would take some playing around with different settings to see if anything else changes the “immediately

Hi all, It looks like you have to turn the unlock iPhone setting to off then near the bottom of that same screen you have the option for requiring password after how long. I’m still running iOS 13 but I have options for 1 minute, 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 1 hour and. hours. HTH Gabe Gabe Griff

Are you probably don’t have the back tap on your iPod touch. I know I don’t have it on my iPhone 7 Plus. As for the neat new recognition features, I think they’re more of a pain than a neat thing. I’ve turned them off. I haven’t found anything useful about them. All they do is add extra verbiage
