I enjoyed the event, especially hearing about the new watches though don’t plan
on getting one this year as I have last year’s. If I were to get one I’d like
product red. In the past I’ve been tempted to upgrade merely for the colour.
All the best

Hello!
I have Apple Watch Series 5 cellular and I upgraded to the latest Watch
OS7. I went to Accessibility settings then VoiceOver settings but I
don't have Braille, isn't it available in all regions or what am I missing?
Thanks.

That’s funny. I’ve never gone for product red, and the thought of having a red
watch just feels weird to me. :) When I got my iPhone 11, I went for purple.

Donna

Hi!
THe cannned crowd noise i am not sure i agree about.
But the apple watch is pritty pritty good and since you might be thinking of
the series 6 you will get even more features.
I tell you that it has also got a noise or db meter which actually warns you
when things are to loud for your ears.
Hi!
Yes, i try with my feedbacks but english is pritty hard for me.
If i could use sswedish i would be able to use that.

Hi Anders,
I watched it on my Apple TV, and the descriptive video was there.

Hi!
Well, i don’t really care as the XR fits me wall.
As long as it works i am happy.
It would be nice with a new watch though.
I wonder if they’ve redesigned it?
It could be a bit thinner in my opinion but i guess that would decrease the
battery time.

Hi,
I think it has some new internal components, for the pulse oxometer and the
hand washing thing, but I don’t recall anything about it being redesigned. It
would be nice if it were thinner, but then, I would rather have the longer
battery life, especially with the new sleep monitoring feature
Hi!
Yeah, i need the sleep tracking feature.
That’s something i really want to try.

Well, that's a feature of Watch 7, so if you want that, you just have to update
your watch.

Hello Family,
1.
I installed iPad OS 14 on my 2017 iPad Pro 10.5 tablet.
Several of the new features of iPad OS 14 are not available on this model.
However, the VoiceOver Scene Description feature is available, albeit a
scaled-down version, and was set to on, by default. This feature drove me

Hi Mark,
I agree with you about the image descriptions. On one hand it's kind of cool
that Foiceover can offer them, but they really do get distracting in my
opinion. FWIW, when I installed 14 on my iPhone 11, image descriptions
defaulted to on. Go figure. :)
Cheers,
Donna

Hi,
I'm still researching the Apple Watch. I need to find out how much my
carrier will charge me for the cellular model. As far as watching the event,
I just clicked on a link provided in an email from another list member and
it started playing with video description already enabled.

Hi Dan,
I have never had a model with cellular data, and never felt I needed one.
Unless you'll spend a lot of time in situations where you won't have your
iPhone nearby, I wouldn't spend the money.
Cheers,
Donna

Donna,
I'll take your advice to heart. I bought a Sharp Talking Time in 1979 and
it's been lurking in my shirt pocket ever since. Wearing a watch again might
take some getting used to.
Thanks,
Dan
The nice thing about science is that it's true whether you believe in it or

Hello Mark! Hope you are doing well. It would be so nice to have a zoom meeting
depending on what time morning is in Swedish time. One thing I am curious about
is if you guys feel that the keyboard is more sluggish with Siri voices? Not
much but a bit sluggish. With the Swedish one the keyboard
Hi Donna! You don't know what you're missing. It's so nice to walk around
having the watch on your wrist and don't care for the heavy iPhone. The only
problem I have is that when I'm on a call and have turn Bluetooth off on the
iPhone I can get an incoming call on the watch. That is a bit strang
Hi Anders,
I am not noticing any keyboard sluggishness.
Best,

Hi Anders,
Maybe it's a guy thing. My phone is always either in range here in my house,
or, if I'm out, it's in my purse, which is nearly always in range of my watch.
I would carry my phone in my purse whether I had the watch or not, so not
having cell data on the watch is really irrelevant to
Well I hope the 12 has a Touch ID as I can’t use Face ID when I have to use a
mask. I bet Apple will put it on there and there excuse will be due to wearing
masks.

There is some kind of feature in iOS 14 which will speed up having the “use
passcode“, if you’re on a phone that has only Face ID. So there is not going to
be touch ID on the iPhone 12 I am extremely sure. They put this new feature in
14 to try to help with the mask situation.
