Hello Leo,
When you open Pages, you shouldn’t have to press anything. The application
should open with a blank template. Cmd-n is the command to show the Template
Chooser.

I have always have some bluetooth connectivity issues with bose headphones.

Thing is though I don't really want to have to always recharge a pair
of headphones. Sometimes it's ok but not something I want to deal
with. Also apple should have made a pair for 30 to 50 bucks. They
could have even included them with the phone sense they want to push
wireless so hard.

Wow, that show formula as text is a new one on me. I just went into Numbers and
checked because I have an edited formulas in a while and the problem that was
spoken of no longer seems to occur for me. Our wing threw the formula in the
formula editor does read out each token. That’s a great help
That fixed it.
Thanks

Hi,
Go into the Music app on your iMac, under the Account menu, select “check for
Available Downloads”. If that doesn’t download them to your iMac, then you’ll
need to select “View My Account” from the Account menu, then look under the
Recent Purchases heading and download them from there. Fo
Hi!
I have a samsung external spinning harddrive which i normally connects to a 7
port usb 3 hub.
For some reason the drive does not work any more when i connect it to the usb
hub.
When i connect it to the mac directly it doesn’t.
THough it has worked when i connected it to the usb hub so i am wo
Does your USB port have a power connector, and if so is it currently on? I
would expect that to be the most probable problem, though generally, when I
plug in a USB device that the computer cannot provide enough power for, the
computer will put up a dialog box indicating so.
Also, I am fairly c
Thank YOU Tim! Especially for the extra details. Turns out this computer
wasn't signed in (which I didn't know was a separate step I needed to perform)
so it was going to be a long wait! Everything is authorized, checked and set
up. Another new Apple adventure.
Appreciate the help!!!

Hello,
If you used AppleScript to create this shortcut, then there is a “once”
parameter to the “play” method, if you set this to true, it should override
whatever is in the user interface.
Of course the JavaScript version of the scripting methods should also accept
this as a parameter, but I ha
Hey all, looking around the app store for a Twitter client that will work on
High Sierra. Twitterrific fits the bill. Anyone use this on the Mac? Could you
give some feedback on your experience?
In the mean time, I’ve installed Friendly for Twitter, but I’m not loving it.
Lol
Thanks,

Hi Jonathan,
Thanks, got it all sorted now. I was going to reply to Anders off list with
some more song suggestions that are over 10 minutes but haven’t worked out how
to find his address yet.

Hi Petrus,
On the Mac, you can figure out someone’s eMail address by doing the following:
• navigate to the message.
• press return on it.
• VO-left and VO should announce Message Headers.
• Interact with the Message Headers.
• VO-right to hear the name of the person.
• interact with that area.

Thanks Tim,
I’ll try that later after I take the dog for her morning walk. I know another
list I’m on has a reply to sender option link in the email that makes it a bit
easier.

Tim,
This method works most of the time, but not all of the time. There are some on
this list who’s email address shows as the address of the list.
I assume this is a function of whatever email client they use and/or how they
have setup their client.

Thanks Tim,
That worked perfectly. This is where my email to Anders ends up on this list
and I find out I got it wrong. Hopefully not.

Brad,
Petrus uses Apple Mail. thus, this works all of the time. I realize that
processes are different depending on the client you’re using, but no need to
complicate matters.

I use Apple Mail, and I can assure you that it does not work all of the time.
