Hi,
After pressing the Add button, enter the phone number that you wish to call

entry field and swipe right past the Add Contact button. There will be buttons

It seems to be a long way around to get to the printer queue to check on
pending jobs. System Preferences followed by Printers and Scanners, followed by
a lot of VO arrow, then click on printer queue. How would I set up a hotkey

You could add the printer cue for your printer to the dock and launch it
from there or you could use the Keyboard commander feature and create a

Hi,
I’m not sure if there’s a specific VO command, but you can press cmd-l, which
is a MacOS command, to send the cursor up to the Address field where you can
hear or copy the current web address.

Hi folks.
I've got the camera connection kit, with the drive plugged in to my phone.
There are zip audio files on the drive.
I want to import these files into voice dream reader.

Try transferring them with the files app instead. Maybe even transfer them from
the drive to the Reader folder in “on my iPhone” file area.

That’s what I like about this list, instructions are normally given in manual
gestures. I’m on an NZ based iPhone list and a lot of the members on there
heavily rely on Siri to do most of their iPhone and iPad functions. Not that

Yeah, I think the files app keeps crashing, because it will not let me

What format should the flash drive be in?

I’ve always used dropbox to transfer files to my phone, and if they are on a

quite easy to get files from dropbox into voice dream.

I would usually do that, but upload speed here doesn't work well.

Hi Petrus
You know, it's funny. I use Siri constantly, but I didn't think about trying to
have her accomplish that particular task. I think because I worry that if
there's some parameter, such as audio, she'll screw it up. But, it worked
perfectly. thanks for mentioning this option.

In iOS 13, how does one handle these? I cannot figure out how to

In theory, you double tap on the picker, then you flick up or down, or I have
even occasionally seen them from left to right, to pick the item you want. The
problem which has become more so with iOS 13 is that sometimes when you double

The way I handled them in iOS is to double tap on the picker, wait a second and
it will bring the picker into an editable context and say “picker item. At that

With focus on the Picker item, make sure your rotor is set to “Adjust Value”,
and then swipe either up or down to select your choice. Once you have
completed this action, swipe left or right to exit the Picker.

Forgot to mention, that sometimes you have to double tap on an item to open the
picker, which often appears near the bottom of the screen.

Hi. Me neither. As I say to the people that are close to me who want to learn
how to use a Mac, as long as you're not doing anything stupid like going on
websites you shouldn't be going on, you won't need antivirus software. I guess
that could be said for any computer.

Can you use the split tap in place of the double tap? You hold one
