I personally in nz find google maps a better gps option than apples maps.
I guess google have put more in down
And that's what recovery software can do also.
Infact some software locates and mounts the drive then wants you to format the
drive before recovering its data.

There’s a remote app on the AppleWatch.
I would like to add my mac to that so i can play music from the watch.
When i tap the add button there’s a passcode coming up but when i open the
music app on my mac there’s nowhere to put the passcode.

As far as I can tell, if you are using the same Apple ID on the watch as you
are on the computer, and, if you have Home Sharing enabled on the computer,
