Did you put the full command in to the terminal?

Then when you paste that or type that into your terminal window you should get

Hey Marc,
how cool. That command worked. And the sound on my MBP 16 is really great at
start up.
Thanks a lot. And I wished Apple hadn’t removed this nice start confirmation
sound.
All the best

I use Terminal for running a PHP framework. I'm pleased how it works now.
The only thing, on Windows, using up arrow, I can select previous used
commands and don't have to type them again. Is it possible on Mac?

Simon,
Okay, I guess I’m just not doing the right thing in this terminal window.
I run terminal.app from my Applications/Utilities folder
I hear some stuff about my name and the last login.
Is this where I simply paste that text? I’ve done so, and never get a request

I have barely used the Catalina terminal, and I have not heard anything about
it being more accessible. I have always been able to navigate via word and

This might be one of those cases where turning off cursor tracking is required.
Generally, I avoid chrome with Mac except for testing that specifically
requires it.

Well, my lab is supposed to put the beta on my iPad. This will be the first

Simon,
Okay, finally got it working.
First, I thought it was that I needed to press return after pasting, but in
actuality, immediately after pasting, I heard “Password”. Then I typed my
password and hit enter.
That got it working.
It’s a subtle, and fairly quiet sound. Any way to bring up the vo
Actually, there is some audio description on CBS All Access. I haven't had much
luck getting it to work consistently, however. With reference to Star Trek
Picard, I got it to work on my iPhone. The app is not especially accessible so

I have cbs all access and will give this a try. I have ad turned on in both my
device and mac laptop, so I thought it would work this way. I will give your
instructions a try. Thanks.
