Hi,
It depends on which Drag & Drop method you're using. The VO-comma can begin to
drag an item and VO-period will drop that item. There are limitations to this
method as once the item being dragged is out of the VO visible area, the drag
will fail. The second method is a little more finger
Hi,
There is no real need to do a reformat if you are going to use Time Machine to
bring apps and data back to your iMac. This process is redundant. The
benefits of a reformat are seen because you create a clean install of the MacOS
and bring back apps and data via the App Store and other loc
Hi,
I find that 2FA is very easy to deal with. You set it up once, and unless
you're adding new devices, or accessing your Apple ID on numerous devices other
than your own, it never asks for codes again. 2FA is different than Two-Step
Verification which is more annoying.

I agree, 2 fa is easy and you don’t really need to deal with it that often, the
worst thing about it is spelling it. So what is two step verification?

Hi,
Two-Step Verification (2SV) is used by many sites like Google, FaceBook, Adobe
and others whereby a six digit SMS message is sent to you that you need to
enter. It is very similar, but has some distinct differences. Specifically,
you need to have a mobile number where the 2SV code can be
Ah, thanks. I’ve not come across this yet, but then I haven’t got a Facebook
account or Twitter or anything like that. I do have WhatsApp on my phone and
even. Find that annoying. Suppose you could call me an anti social media
person.

Well I’m going to upgrade my wife’s Mac tomorrow so if it happens again I’ll
get in touch with 2 degrees.

I was really looking forward to the update to 13.2 for the HomePod. And I
finally got it after the first one was withdrawn and they introduced 13.2.1.
Now it seems that at least half of the time, Siri is deaf. I can say hey Siri
two or three times before I get any results at all. And she comes u
I’m guessing one can turn it off and back on again? This works for most other
things if it isn’t working the way you want? You probably tried this already?
We don’t have the HomePod in New Zealand so I can’t test this.

Yes, I suppose one can do that. It’s just really started acting up today.
Yesterday it seemed OK. I think I would actually like to reset the HomePod. But
after the trouble people had with the update, I really don’t want to go there,
even though they say everything is fixed. When my phone is r
Hey list,
An observation I’ve made with my new MacBook Air and Catalina. Every time my
screen locks after a period of idleness or I put my computer to sleep and I
return to unlock my screen or awaken my computer, the screen returns to a
setting of full brightness. I always keep my screen’s brig
I was wondering if this was normal behaviour with Touch ID on the iPhone and

albums in the iTunes Store and my Touch ID wouldn’t work. I had to go back into
the phone settings and turn off touch ID for the App Store and iT

Yeah Petrus I’ve asked about that myself also.
However after seeing the sonos move I’m not keen on the home pod,
The sonos is very very cool and the same size and price as the pod.

Yes, you can turn hey Siri off and on. I have also tried holding down on the
play button on the HomePod itself, which will activate Siri. It certainly helps
with getting her attention, but the results are not wonderful sometimes.

It only happened after 13.2, it was fine with all of the other iOS 13 updates .

Thank you.
Is it CMD+R or Shift+CMD+R? And I shotdown the iMac and Cold Boot with the SD
Card in the slot. What option should I choose?

Have you simply restarted the home pod to see if things change?

Hi angus,
Firstly both of those will work, but you will need to have a wifi network
available to connect to as they need the internet to get to your installation
media which in those cases comes from apple.
As for your SD card,
I’d try these 2 options.
On start up if you can see enough

I’ve sent this on as there is a link to a You Tube video of Mac Rumours Airpod

To be honest, no. I have not restarted the HomePod. There was that problem with

wonder if maybe Siri is just being slammed or something. M
Hi Mary,
Or could it simply be that apple have really dropped the ball on this years
operating system versions and they don’t care!
I’m starting to wonder!
I know they have had bad days in the passed but I think this is the worst IOS
release I’ve seen in a while for bugs.
May be they need to
I have better luck setting my screen brightness to 1-5%. Having Brightness set

I have to say there seem to be a lot more people who use their computers with

I have that problem. Restarted, Siri off/on etc. Called to Apple and it

It is impossible to use the iPhone 8 to listen something once Voiceover
